After Delivery you will be cared for in one of our Post Partum Rooms.

For the privacy and safety of all our patients there may be some limitations to the number of visitors for our laboring patients. In an effort to keep our hallways clear for the safety of our patients, CRMC requests that the lounge be used as a waiting area when visitors are not in the labor rooms.

Childbirth Classes are offered by Maternal Infant Services Network of Sullivan, Ulster and Orange Counties regardless of where you plan to deliver. It is recommended that women attend the class two months before their due date. For dates and listings of classes, please call Liz Pickett at 845.750.6265.

Please learn how to safely secure your infant car seat for the ride home before coming to the hospital. The staff will be unable to assist you with your car seat installation.

Case Managers are available to provide information about available community resources and discharge planning services. Referrals can be made to community agencies to assist parents when they return home with their newborns. Such agencies include the Teen Parenting Program, Public Health Nursing, Healthy Beginnings, WIC, and the Department of Family Services.
