Catskill Regional Medical Center's Rehabilitation Department offers a full range of rehabilitation services which facilitates functional independence and improved quality of life. Our patients receive hands-on occupational, physical, and speech therapy which is performed by a compassionate, professional team of therapists with an average of 10 years of experience each. We accept virtually all insurance plans and there is no Medicare cap if your therapy is performed inside a hospital. Click here to read our quarterly newsletter.

Physical Therapy:

Our highly-skilled physical therapy staff put people into motion by decreasing pain and improving functional mobility. We specialize in providing individual treatment sessions. Inpatient and outpatient services are available at both Harris and Callicoon sites. Evening hours are available at Harris on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Callicoon.

Occupational Therapy:

Occupational therapists help people to carry out the daily activities, roles, and routines that are most important and meaningful to them, by restoring and teaching skills needed for independent living. Our staff serves pediatric, adult, geriatric, neurological, hand therapy, and upper extremity orthopedic populations. Inpatient and outpatient services are provided at Harris and Callicoon locations.

Speech / Language Pathology:

Speech-language pathologists evaluate and treat individuals with swallowing, speech, and language disorders. In both Harris and Callicoon Divisions, contract speech-language therapy services are provided on an as-needed basis.

Audiology:

Audiologists evaluate and treat individuals with hearing disorders. Services are provided weekly at our Harris location. Our audiologist is available for priority inpatient referral as needed.

Insurance:

We participate with most payers, including Empire Blue Cross, MPN, MVP, GHI HMO, Aetna US Healthcare, 1199, Workers Compensation, No Fault, Medicare and Medicaid. Financial Assistance is available for qualified patients.

Referrals:

We accept referrals directly from all NYS licensed physicians. Patients are responsible for obtaining any required insurance referral forms/approvals from their physician.
