Who needs a Swing Bed?
The person who:

• Is recovering from major surgery including joint replacement
• Has experienced repeated hospitalizations
• Is recovering from a stroke
• Is recuperating from a major accident
• Needs help with Pain Management
• Requires wound care or amputation care
• Is coping with congestive heart failure
• Has resolving conditions
• Needs enteral nutrition

To qualify for the Swing Bed Program, patient must:

• Be under the supervision of professional personnel
• Require skilled services on a daily basis
• Have a 3 day acute admission prior to entering the Swing Bed Program
